In the early years when I was taking classes at Yoga Centers (now "Alive and Shine Center"), I would commute from Seattle to the Eastside. People would say, "I can't believe you go across the bridge for yoga!" I would say, "I can't believe I don't have to move to India to learn what I'm learning!" Now, as a teacher at Yoga Centers, I can say this amazing studio is what has kept me in Washington State. The integrity and incredible wisdom of the owners, the marvelous students and teachers, and the beautiful atmosphere make it a true gem on earth!
