I went in looking for one medium-sized dog and three hours later walked out with two large dogs. (I had to leave for a bit in between to think about this!) The staff are a group of amazing, caring, animal-loving individuals. Adopting two dogs was, for me, nearly as emotional as adopting children.
We took the dogs (a husky mix and a shepherd mix) mountain biking the first day we had them and they have been by our sides ever since. Keep up the great work!

This is where I bought my wedding dress! It was non-traditional and locally made. My husband enjoyed the other fun items in the shop while I tried things on. We both will go back!

My mom told me that I refused to eat canned soup as a kid. This is probably because my mom also makes amazing soup from scratch - a habit I have picked up on in recent years.
Someone told me about Infinite Soups one day so I decided to try it myself. And try, try, try again I did. They give you samples of everything until you decide what you want to order! If you get there early you have about 2 dozen choices.
I am now asking myself, "Why didn't I think to open a restaurant like this?"

The Frankfurter has the best kielbasa in the area (and I have tried many!). The french rolls are perfect for loading a frankfurter up with sauerkraut and other condiments.
Another great thing about the Frankfurter is the fresh squeezed lemonade. It is the only place I have found that doesn't use a mix to make lemonade. Fresh is best!

Maneki should be the ONLY sushi restaurant in this category! Jean and Mom are the best hostesses and tend to know customers by face and name after just a few visits. The sushi is delicious, traditional, and reasonably priced. For something special try the miso black cod collar.

Hands down, THE best sandwich shop in the entire region! Furnished with antiques (i.e. mismatched old tables and chairs, statues, wallhangings, etc.) "The Antique" plays host to Open Mic Night on Tuesdays and a variety of other concerts on weekends and throughout the year. Jim Page and Artis the Spoonman have played here as well as other local favorites. In addition to the sandwiches my favorite menu items are the black bean burrito, house salad with tahini dressing, and the bread pudding. The milkshakes are big enough for two people.

The new Gerald McDermott exhibit featuring the Raven and Coyote trickster tales is amazing! Parents and children can work together on storytelling skills and sequencing utilizing costumes and a variety of other hands-on materials. It was so cool to see kids age 3-13 enjoying the exhibit on opening night!
