I can't remember how I found Adrian, (I think it was based on a recommedation from a friend) but I'm glad I did. Back then he was operating out of the back of a specialty Porsche shop. Now he's got that great new space in Everett. Anyway, I have had problems with small shops in the past (both car and motorcycle, either related to quality, timeliness, or expertise), so I kind of quizzed him up front with some quesions and problems specific to my bike model. He not only knew all the answers, but provided background info and opinions on a few as well. He's been honest and forthright in our dealings, and even fixed a few small problems for free. Be advised, however, that since he is a smaller shop his turnaround time may not be the same as a dealership. But what you get in return is first class service, knowledgeable interaction with the mechanic(s) actually performing the work on your bike, and a shop labor rate that can't be beat. Plus, he's always got several extremely interesting bikes on hand that he's servicing; it's nice to see such variety. All in all, I highly recommend SSU for all your tune-up, build-up, and general motorcycle servicing needs, and I myself hope to have a long-lasting business relationship with Adrian and his staff.
