Lots of food -- everything you can imagine. Fun to just walk around and people watch.
A totally amazing place to watch and listen to a concert. Absolutely beautiful view at sunrise. Big open grassy area to sit on, or lay back and enjoy the music.
ONLY drawback is it's not near by many places for overnight accommodations. Some camping, but limited.
Fun - great food -- dancing --lots to do.
Good sized smoke-free area, too.
Lots of parking on an open lot with easy access to casino -- even valet if you like.
Great place for a family day trip. You get to see many native animals of Western Washington while riding on an open tram on a small paved road through open meadows, spots of trees, and around a lake. I am luck to live on miles from NTWP and have gone many times since I was a child. One piece of advice -- if you want to see lots of animals, don't go on a hot sunny day. Spring and early summer is fun because the new babies are out too.
Amazing views no matter which trails you're on or how high up you hike.
I personally like hiking from Sunrise. Some short trails lead you quickly to gorgeous views of meadows in valleys, snowfields, small creeks. And - it's not as busy as other places in Mt. Rainier such as when you hike from Paradise. Stunning views either way.
Small town with lots to do. Many touristy shops and fun restaurants. Sight see old historical buildings. Lots of great photo opps! Love our trips up there.
Cute little town that you wouldn't know was there since it's not on the way to anywhere. Quiet, right on the water. On a hill overlooking Puget Sound. Fun beach for families to enjoy in the summer. A few cute shops.
Just absolutely gorgeous views and scenery!
uuhhh......it's lavendar - nothing more needed to say! :-)
Totally cool and unique -- and it's right on the way if you're headed to Mt. Rainier. Great place to take visitors from out of town.
Great market for close-by produce -- right from the Puyallup valley! Prices are good and a variety of booths to shop from. Since it's in downtown Puyallup it has a small town feel. Places for the kids to play. Great food from some of the local small business and yummy bakeries!
What's better than being able to see the sun set across the great Pacific. Whether you're on the beach or staying in one of the many choices of hotels in Ocean Shores. And even on cloudy/stormy days it's peaceful watching the evening approach. Still one of my favorite all-time destinations in Washington after 34 years.
Lots to do for everyone -- always has something going on!
Loved this place -- absolutely gorgeous rooms beyond what even some of the best hotels I've stayed at offered. Big, plush 4 poster beds, gorgeous view of the ocean. Everything you need in your room to lock yourselves away for a romantic stay. Just amazing.
cool
Because I teach there (new this year) and the teachers and rest of staff are so awesome and really care about the kids. It's a lower economic area, but amazing parent support - highest turn out I've ever had at an Open House the other night! happy kids! :-)
