Sake Nomi is without a doubt the finest bar in Seattle. It's low key, and has an excellent menu of imported Japanese sake. Owner Johnnie Stroud's taste in blues, reggae and jazz is quite refined, and the people that frequent the place are friendly and sophisticated. The wide screen television serves up sake instructionals, sumo mahem and the occasional Wii bowling tournament. On the infrequent occasions when Johnnie's wife Taiko shows up, you are treated to her excellent, dry sense of humor, which goes well with their excellent dry sake. You can't go wrong at Sake Nomi.
