BEST Breakfast Pomegranate Bistro

"The Pom" is my favorite morning breakfast place after the gym or for brunch on the weekends. The Shrimp and Grits (available on weekends) is just superior. Also, their coffee (Cafe Lusso) is absolutely superb. The servers are attentive without hovering and the kitchen performs at a very high level for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus, for dinner they have an excellent wine selection as well as local Redmond microbrews from Black Raven and Mac & Jack's.

Taste their Brown Porter or Scotch Ale and tell me that they don't know what the heck they're doing. If you're a hop-head then try the Trickster IPA or the Pale instead, but don't do it unless you live near Redmond because their beers are addictive.

BEST Happy Hour Matador

While there are no drink specials during the Matador's Happy Hour (4-6pm and 9pm to close) they more than make up for it with the Shrimp Quesadila or the massive plate of nachos for $5. We go there most nights after our softball game and while we might be under-dressed for the likes of the Matador, I think we've become addicted to this Happy Hour.
