BEST Training Paws with no flaws dog training

I've been really impressed with Anna's ability to motivate my stubborn but loves-to-learn dog. Training the basics was easy, but I was left struggling with how to deal with some behaviors my dog finds more difficult to control - like door dashing, demanding attention, and getting her to understand the difference between alerting (which is ok) and controlling (which is not ok). My search for a trainer led to Anna, whom I found through the 2010 Best of Western WA poll. Voter comments from previous years were what led me to contact her.

I have been impressed with Anna's creative solutions, her complete willingness to find the most appropriate way to train each skill we're working on rather than being stuck on one "right" way (that isn't always effective), and her ability to keep my dog interested and entertained. I've worked with some of the other class-based and private trainers on this year's list and they've done fine jobs. But Anna really stands out among the rest. It doesn't just "feel like" Anna wants my dog to be successful - I truly believe she's excited about my dog's achievements. She's fun, friendly, patient, and effective - and my dog likes her, too!
