As a caterer and food consultant, I know a great cake when I see it and serve it. We were scraping the crumbs off the cake stand. Amazing taste--no fondant, real buttercream frosting.!
The Kaketress goes beyond beautiful cakes, or excellent recipes. She is an problem solver extraordinare! With careful planning and thoughtfulness, she was able to design a croquembouche that met our dreams - one that we could cut with a sword. Her hardwork and time spent constructing this beautiful piece was evident! She thought of everything - from matching our wedding decor, how to construct the cake for the sword cutting, and how to make the serving easy for guests! In addition, at the last moment her magicial fingers whipped up a gorgeous & scrumptous German Chocolate Rubix Cube Cake for my Hubby. Everything Tortes-n-Tarts did was seamless end to end. Thanks for helping make our wedding day so beautiful! Our guests still can't stop raving about that croquembouche!

I have tasted the products several times and found them perfect every time.
Kelly was very responsive and available when I called. The price was reasonable, delivery was on time, and the cake looked great and tasted perfect -- rich chocolate with fresh rasberry. I wanted a European style flavor and it was great.
We planned a wedding which took place in Gig Harbor, WA while we like in NJ. All contacts were done over the internet. Kelly Hooper was most wonderful to work with and the wedding cake she created for my son and his bride was the best I've ever tasted. It was fresh, unique and beautifully decorated with ribbons and fresh flowers. She is an outstanding person to do business with and a wonderful caketress.
