I get all my tattoo's done at Theory Tattoo I have followed one of the artists working there from one shop to another. Its not like some other places where theres alot of teenagers just hanging out. Its professional, artists that take their jobs to the heart. You can tell they are artists doing what they love to do and no someone just doing ink cause its a "Job".
I got an amazing piece done here - I came in with some vague referance, and Jeremy took my ideas and ran with them. Now I have a custom piece and I get compliments everyday. I recommend everyone I know to Theory Tattoo. It's just an all around great environment :)
The guys (and gal) at Theory all do stellar work. Go check em for sure. They are the stand out of an abysmal selection in Everett. Go see for yourself, son!
Everytime I get off that boat, I go down to Theory Tattoo. Those guys rock dude. Seriously. Go get tattooed there, you'll never go to another shop.

First of all, congratulations on your stellar grammar and spelling capabilities. Obviously a reflection on your opinions and outlooks. How do you expect people to take you seriously with a name like that anyways?
Let me just go ahead and say that just because a shop charges a little more for their work, it doesn't mean they are out for your money - it means they do amazing work (at least in Theory's case). And YES you should expect to pay for it. Let it be said though, that there are crap street shops in the greater Everett area that charge more than Theory. I did a lot of research before starting my sleeve, and there are way LESS capable artists in way LESS respectable shops who are willing to charge more than Theory does. Are you attacking them too?
Maybe you failed to notice while standing in the shop - but there happens to numerous awards for the outstanding work that the artists at Theory do. I don't know - maybe "subpar" means award worthy to you, just a shot in the dark there.
As for the location being next to a "homeless shelter", really? The close approximation of EVERYTHING in Everett to the Men's Mission is unfortunate, but as a custom shop attempting to stay off the beaten path and avoid the "street shop" stigma - the location probably works well for them. Maybe you should take your battle up with the guy who is tattooing out of the band sheds instead. Just a suggestion.
Finally, to address your "she answered the phone with gloves on YUCK" comment. Had the thought ever crossed your feeble mind that people do wear clean gloves? Last I checked, it's still ok to touch things with clean gloves on. I've been in a lot of shops and seriously? I've never been in a cleaner shop than Theory Tattoo, and I think that everyone else who's been in there would agree with me... But maybe you missed that Sterilization Certificate of Participation too? It's on the wall next to the awards.
So, my suggestion to you would be to get a life, and stop posting BS comments on public forums. Use this forum as what it's meant for - to write recommendations for a great shop that does amazing work, and not bash a business just to be a jerk. It's rude, immature and completely uncalled for. That's why these voting forums never end up with definitive results - because people like you abuse them.
On a final note, as a dedicated client of Theory Tattoo - I happen to know that every single other client is just as dedicated as I am and would never write this kind of trash. Leaving only rival shops as the culprit of this ridiculous slander. Stop being such haters.

Theory tattoo has the most amazing artists. I have a chest piece from Adam Williams that ended up in Bizarre magazine in the UK. Everyone there is kind and respectful. It's immaculately clean and occasionally there's live music.

I'm never getting tattooed anywhere but Theory Tattoo!!! I come from out of state. Everyone in the shop knows how to tattoo and is nice. The artwork is beautiful. Remember tattoos are forever so go to Theory.

I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I even make the drive up from Portland to get tattooed here, as well as my best friend. That's how impressive this shop is. The atmosphere is awesome, as well as the work done. All I've seen come out of there is pure ART. Thanks guys!
There is no other tattoo shop I would go to. Adam & Jasper are the best.
They have amazing cutomer service and their artwork and tattoo skills are outstanding!! Jeremy is amazing and Jasper has his head in the game!
