The Wedding Bell has been in business for over 65 years and is located at the corner of 6th and Junett in Tacoma. The store has an interesting history. Mrs. Fontana was the original owner of The Wedding Bell, and she owned it for 47 years before she passed away. She kept newspaper clippings and photographs from every single bride during that time. Ask to see the albums when you visit. They are a unique insight into the history of Tacoma. It is our understanding that Mrs. Fontana even attended the weddings of all her brides and helped them get dressed. We routinely have Wedding Bell brides from 40, 50, even 60 years ago drop by with their daughters and grand-daughters.
The Wedding Bell has changed ownership three times since then and is currently owned by Kim Miller. Kim is very involved in the wedding business. She also owns and operates Miller Photography Studio, which specializes in wedding photography. We deliver the individualized attention every bride deserves... So, come experience the difference of a full-service bridal boutique.
An appointment is strongly recommended. We are very busy in the salon, and we want to ensure that one of our bridal consultants will be available to help you. lots of great dresses to choose from and the girls there were really helpful - not pushy like other places i had been to.
I took my daughter there to look for homecoming dresses. Such a refeshing store. The girls were so nice and the dresses were even better! It was so nice to escape the mall and actually find beauitufl gowns for my daughter. They had a good selection of ones that were not to grown up.

I got my homecomming dress there. They had one of kind dresses and they do that dress registery thing so that you wont have the same dress as another girl!

The Wedding Bell has beautiful dresses! I live near their store and they always have the most beautiful dresses in their windows. I am not a bride but I have been in the store just to peak around at the beautiful gowns... The staff treated me with such politeness and were so warm and welcoming. I now try to stop in once a month to say hello!
