The Tin Room

Category: Neighborhood Bar (70 listings)

To venture into the Tin Room is to inhabit a latter-day Norman Rockwell illustration where eclectic crowds of friendly neighbors gather to lift a glass and a fork. It's where a pair of handsome hounds are tied to a post out front, a couple of TVs are tuned to the game, and two Mac and Jacks into an evening you realize there's no place else you'd rather be.

The Tin Room is our Stammkneipe. We like the closeness, the atmosphere and the staff. The drinks are great, too. Did I mention food. They have good food too.

Because it is just the friendliest atmosphere. All of the staff learn about the clientele. Dan, the owner, is very community oriented and has helped Olde Burien become a very vibrant place...

Originally Highline Tin shop. Actual local sheetmetal shop for over 75 yrs. Used old benches and tools as decor. Drinks and food are great and reasonably priced. Lots of local history on display.

The place to be in the south end. Affordable meals and great drink selection. Fun atmosphere. Hometown environment. Dan, the owner, has created a fabulous bar setting. He definitely has found his niche! Must visit!

The best martini's ever.........Always a variety of different wines and a menu that changes through the seasons. Fantastic "Tin Room" burgers with thier own style of fries are a huge favorite. An amazing staff and owner "Dan the Sausage Man". Finally a hangout in the southend.
