It seems that you can't mention Gig Harbor to anyone in the Puget Sound without them following up with "The Tides Tavern." The two just seem synonymous, and great tavern food is probably a good reason why. From The Tides' world famous clam chowder (made fresh daily) and our New Mexico Barroom Chili, to our original recipes for cod, halibut, classic and signature pizzas, deli sandwiches, and yes, those famous burgers, it's no wonder that The Tides remains a dining mainstay after 30 years in business.
Find a seat, put your feet up, and let your server help you. Or, if you prefer, come on up to the bar and our staff would be happy to get your order. Just another way to take part in the whole "Tides Experience". The Tides Tavern offers great entertainment and events, too. We have our own draught beer on tap, Tides Full Scale Ale, Tides ESB Best Barrel Bitter, and Tides Peninsula Porter, brewed for The Tides Tavern by Harmon Pub & Brewery, Tacoma, Washington. We offer 40 spirits, including a few non-alcoholic brews, by the bottle/can. We serve excellent wines by the glass and by the bottle and our chamnpagne, Freixenet Cordon Negro, is available by the split or bottle.
