The Soul Proprietors are an eleven-piece live soul band performing in and around the Seattle area since 2003.
Featuring four singers, a trio of horn players, and a solid rhythm section, The Soul Proprietors play instantly recognizable, upbeat songs made famous by the classic Motown, Atlantic and Stax recording artists of the 1960s and 70s, along with other danceable songs from the 80's 90's and today.
The set includes soul and R&B classic by Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett, The Temptations, Sam and Dave, Stevie Wonder and many other soul giants.
In addition to the staple soul repertoire, the band often breaks out contemporary, danceable rock, R&B and neo-soul selections to suit the occasion.
The Soul Proprietors are available for club shows, weddings, private parties and corporate events.
