Justin Taft, owner of the recently opened Hangar Café, comes from an extensive background of coffee shop and café experience. He started his career several years ago in Portland, Oregon working as a barista for Coffee People. Starbucks was next where he began as a barista and was soon managing stores in Portland then Seattle. Justin furthered his career at Peet's Coffee and Tea, managing two locations in the Seattle area. Then he tried something a little different…high end chocolates. Justin was West Coast Area Manager of Neuhaus Chocolates for two years. His last venture before opening The Hangar Cafe was managing The Essential Bakery Company on Madison St. You'll see Justin behind the counter making your special crepe or sandwich.
The Hangar is the best! They seem to get the formula right by keeping it simple. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. It's amazing how many restaurants just don't get it! Justin, you and your staff rock!!!
The Hangar Cafe is a charming cafe in a little house right at the northern tip of Boeing Field. Crepes are their specialty and it shows! The Cafe also offers soups, sandwiches and salads. Service is friendly and down to earth. I appreciate, too, that the Cafe supports other local entrepreneurs - hey, we're all in this together!
As visitors from Portland, our family took us to the Hangar -- what a treat! The food and friendly staff can't be beat! You'll be glad you went out of your way to check it out!
Wanted a unique Seattle experience and stopped by the Hangar for Brunch. Justin and his crew were grat.
The crepes were Fabulous!!! When in Seattle we will make it a point to go to the Hangar. MIMOSA's are great Too!!!!
Woo Hoo! Crepes!
Was recently on holidays , only spent a short time in Seattle but I did not miss a morning in there , if I could vote for the whole menu I would. Thought no one could make better Crepes than ME.. I was and am soooo wrong. Well done. Make sure you are there on my return visit!.

This place is amazing. Ithink about it way to much.
I love the food at The Hangar, but the best part about the place is the Owner--the personification he and his staff put to the food is what makes it delicious!
no one can top the Hangar crepe
These are by far the best crepes EVER!!
What a great place. Fun space (great local art), friendly service, and love the owner Justin! The french toast is phenominal but my favorite is the savory Hangar Crepe. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
We need more restaurants like The Hangar Cafe. Laid back atmosphere with a neighborhood feel. People are friendly, real and really know how to cook!
Amazing food that is baked fresh daily! Weekend specials are outstanding, try the baked french toast. The incredients in the egg crepe special change daily and it never dissapoints! And the friendly outgoing staff makes you feel right at home!
Hangar Cafe is a cozy neighborhood hangout with unexpected flair serving up a variety of Fabulous Crepes, savory sandwiches and specialities. One of Georgetown's gem's.
Excellent food - love the crepes and on occassion delicious pies! You need to try this place out if you haven't already. You will not be disappointed. Theresa from McMinnville, Oregon
This place kicks butt!!
I love the Hangar Cafe! I love Justin! I love the food! I love the servers! The crepes are extraordinary, luscious and gorgeous, the type of treat one dreams about for days and days (nay, weeks!) afterward. The seasonal pumpkin waffles stole my heart, and now that it's autumn, I can't wait to go back to see if they have them again like they did last year.
I can't praise this place enough. The friendliness and enthusiasm of the Hangar people, the charm of the restaurant, the intriguing variety of little airplanes that decorate the interior, the unique furnishings and artwork - all combine to create an incomparable spot that will give you a delightful experience.
A very highly recommended place. You'd be crazy not to go. I'd be going there now if I weren't on the other side of the world. :( You can't find any breakfast places here! Mmmmm... crepessssss.
I travel all the way from Shoreline to have the Hangar Crepe, which is my favorite. The Crepes are killer to say the least!
I am the type of person that won't order pizza or quesadillas in a restaurant, because I know I can make them better at home. I won't ever try to make crepes at home, solely because of the Hangar Cafe. I won't even bother ordering it in another restaurant, because I KNOW it won't compare to Justin's.... by the way, I am now in Denver, and the same goes here.... can you imagine my pain? I can't get crepes in the whole Rocky Mountain range because Justin makes his TOO WELL. Thanks, Justin, thanks a lot. P.S. I would like to vote for their blueberry coffee cake as best in W.Washington as well...
