It is a theatre run by mostly volunteers. The prices are reasonable and the popcorn is terrific. They are expanding from three auditoriums to four auditoriums in a few months. I live in Federal Way and it is close by and easy to get to.

Great people, great movies and great popcorn. Add in the awesome community events they sponsor (72 hour film festival, Tacoma Film Festival, Oscar Parties and Family Movies) and you've got a Home Run.

The Grand has the heart of Tacoma. Anyone who steps foot in the front doors can feel Tacoma, and also smell delicious popcorn.
The Grand Cinema shows a wide array of interesting films of interest to wide range of ages. It also has an annual film festival and a film contest for developing film producers.
