Beautiful venue for weddings! The catering is incredible!
we got married there on the 4th of July, the views are breathtaking our guests still rave about it. It's great because you get the space all to yourself also free parking!!
Our daughter's wedding took place in The Canal, and from the ceremony through the reception things couldn't have been better. The views are spectacular, and regardless of weather, guests can enjoy all there is to see on the active Ship Canal. The interior is spacious yet cozy, modern yet warm. Best of all, Jewel Hospitality provides food that is out of this world. Whether a gathering is small or large, The Canal works perfectly.
I had my wedding at the Canal in May. The entire experience was seamless. Our sales director was knowledgable, creative and responsive. On the day of our wedding, the venue was beautiful, the food was stellar and the staff was attentive, and fun. I am still hearing from our guests how great our wedding was.
The Canal is an amazing venue with spectacular views of the water from every part of the facility. Huge outdoor deck, fabulous food; highly experienced and professional staff. It IS the Best of Western Washington!

Simply amazing!
The Canal is an excellent venue for a wedding ceremony and reception. The setting is beautiful in any type of weather and the facility can serve casual or formal needs. The entire room is decorated in warm colors so extensive decorating is not necessary and the layout makes it easy to make the rounds to all of the guests.
The staff is very pleasant, patient and organized! Food and cocktails are beautifully presented and of excellent quality.
They helped eliminate much of the stress, and even helped direct us to an excellent photographer.
We had our daughter's engagement party there last fall. The venue was perfect, waterfront backdrop to the festivities and the service was impeccable!
I love this place!
My daughter had her mind set on a different location for her wedding but at a friend's suggestion we decided to take a look at the Canal. From the moment we walked in, we knew we found "the spot" The interior color scheme is warm and elegant. From anywhere in the restaurant the view is spectacular. Our out of town guests were particularly thrilled to watch the boats queuing up for the locks. But the view was just a small part of the great experience we had at the Canal. Kristin, the account executive who was assigned to our wedding reception couldn't have been more pleasant and efficient. Her attention to details and responsiveness to our needs made the planning stress free. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service flawless. The wedding was at the beginning of September and I still get comments from our guests about how much they enjoyed themselves.
Such a fantastic place! The views are spectacular and the company that manages the venue are a pleasure to work with. I definitely would plan another event there.

Not only was the venue beautiful and unique, the staff was professional and accomidating with our ever changing and expanding needs. Nothing we asked for was too much. We had many out of town guests and this venue provided amazing views of what our lovely city has to offer. The food was delicious and our guests are still tlaking about how much fun they had 5 weeks later.

The Canal is an astonishing venue for every event!! Its a space that truly speaks to the heart of Northwest Beauty, from the view to the ambience. The staff is amazingly detailed and attentive, offering some of the best service in Seattle. The food is so yummy! both delicious, gorgeous and innovative. I would have every party for all my important events at the Canal!
