The word Tapatio originates from Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco in Mexico. It's literal meaning is for the natives from this city. But for us at Tapatio's restaurant, it describes a feeling of pride that sets this region apart from Mexico. It is full of traditions that date back from the time of the conquest to the invention that fills us with pride - the Mariachi.
Great soups and salads (which one wouldn't typically consider at a Mexican restaurant).
