Celebrating its 75th anniversary, Tacoma Art Museum brings local, national, and international artists to the Northwest as it strives to connect people through art.
Current exhibitions include an extensive Japanese woodblock print collection, works by Vashon Island artist Victoria Adams, a range of Impressionist artwork, and a permanent collection of the works of Dale Chihuly. Opening soon is a celebration of Tacoma through photographs and next year, the nationally-travelling exhibition American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell.
Lovely open venue, excellent staff who are experienced with events, great galleries (esp. the Chihuly collection). Room for dancing, etc. Perfect place
