Explore the silence of nature! …. Sunset Marine Resort is a beautiful beachfront Resort nestled on Sequim Bay in Sequim, Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula. It is located between Port Townsend and Port Angeles, and is less than two hours from Seattle and Victoria BC. Cabins are brilliantly positioned amongst nature’s majesty, surrounded by stunning madrona trees shading the balconies. Kayaks are available for rent and 26 miles of mountain bike trails for nature‘s and sport‘s enthusiasts.
The resort has 8 fully furnished, uniquely decorated cabins with kitchens complete with linens and cooking utensils, coffee makers, microwave ovens, radios, CD players…. (No TV’s or phones). Each cabin has electric heat and 3 have wood burning stoves for a cozy romantic get-a-way.
Spend a starry night at your own personal campfire, watching seals, otter, eagles, an abundance of bird varieties, plan a kayaking picnic to Travis spit, or enjoy the day relaxing. My husband and I recently stayed at the Sunset Marine Resort. What a wonderful place to stay....right on the water secluded by a forrest type setting. We stayed in the Boathouse which is only yards from the water. We woke up to a beautiful view every morning. Spent the day walking the beach; getting oyster and butter clams and cooking them on our own private outdoor fire pit. The owners are wonderful people who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants a vacation not too far away, but makes you feel like you are in another world. So peaceful. Great place for family reunions, gathering of old friends, or just a romantic get-away for two. In fact, I'm considering this place for that special gift for a couple who is getting married or even celebrating a special anniversary. A weekend they won't forget! Also a great place for kids. They can watch the seals that come up on the beach at night, feed the racoons, watch the eagles, beahcombing, or even go kayacking. I give this place a 5-star rating!
We have stayed at Sunset Marine Resort several times and have enjoyed our stay very much. The owners are very accomodating and the cabins have everything you need. It is everything the resort advertises and more. We will definately go back.
