Despite the recession, toy recalls and stringent new toy laws, and with the closing of Tree Top Toys in Lake Forest Park, we felt the need for a new kind of community-based toy store. A toy store that offers more educational toys, more science, more arts and crafts, more family games and puzzles, more wooden toys, more local products from the Northwest. A toy store that includes a birthday party room, art classes, free gift wrapping, and a place to meet with friends and have a free latte or hot tea. A toy store owned, run and staffed by families in our community who love kids, families and community building.

By far the best toy store in the area. The owner, a local, takes pride in his store, staff and offerings. Has a variety of great gifts, greener choices, educational, and just plain fun toys. There is something for everyone. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Free lattes or teas for the peeps. Entertaining play stations for the kids. Story times, arts classes, and birthday parties. I can't say enough wonderful things about this gem of a toy store. You just gotta go check it out.

They have every kind of toy for every age group & from all around the world. Very organized and easy to find things by childs age group as well.
Amazing selection, beautiful setup, and helpful, friendly workers.
Friendly service, unique and quality toys, free coffee/espresso. Hands-on play areas for the kids.
All of these factors enter into my recommendation: quality of toys; reasonable prices ; helpfulness of staff; ambience; staff's enjoyment of their work. Shopping is not a preferred activity of mine, but I thoroughly enjoy shopping here....plus the gift of an espresso or plain coffee is nice.
This store is awesome! The people are friendly, and they never mind when the kids play with EVERYTHING! Prices are higher, but service makes up for it! Great place, keep it up!

Super kid friendly place where you can go and really try out the toys before you buy them. They never try to rush you out and are generally great to be around! Fantastic place!

Great selection for anything you may need. The staff is super friendly and I can take the kids in with me. The kids get to play while I browse. What more could I ask for?!

Snapdoodle Toys is a one-of-a-kind store featuring a wide range of educational toys for children and the young at heart. I am especially drawn to the many imaginative board games, many science or history-based. Store personnel are always welcoming and helpful.
friendly staff, awesome toys, insanely large variety, quite a few made in America and other places rather than the made in China stuff you can't trust to be safe for kids
I love their store. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They encourage us to play with the toys, even if we are not buying anything that day. They also offer free tea, coffee and lattes. I love finding new and unusual toys as well as the old standbys.
