Smith & Vallee Gallery represents the finest established and emerging artists across the Northwest and beyond. Located in the historic town of Edison, WA, the gallery is housed in a restored, turn-of-the-century school house and hosts a new exhibition every four to six weeks. The exhibition space has a beautiful hundred-
year-old wood floor and excellent natural light.

An inviting gallery, light and airy, with the art well-displayed. The exhibits change each month so there is always something new to see. When you sign the guestbook, you will receive postcards announcing the upcoming shows.

Smith & Vallee found a little-known artist last spring by the name of Keith Sorensen, whose work is full of dynamic darks and lights, a man who has not been shown but needs to be. Smith & Vallee finds that kind of art.

Smith Vallee Gallery is a forum not only for art, but also historic preservation and community. It is a gem in the heart of a classic “small, home town”, which is becoming scarce in today’s PNW. The owners of this gallery took a historic, significant building and masterfully allowed the original, distinctive beauty to re-emerge. Nothing trendy or contrived fuels this gallery, just a communal appreciation of small town integrity and art.
Edison is an interesting tiny town with an upcoming art scene. Smith Vallee Gallery is the best in town and it shows a broad range of art, much of it quite intriguing.

This is a gem in a wonderful little, and I mean little, town in the Skagit Valley.
Not only is the gallery itself a work of art, but Smith Vallee chooses to showcase such diverse and ecletic artists - addng a tremendous richness to Whatcom County together. The professionalism, class and understanding of amazing artistry does not go unnoticed!
