Located in Seattle, Washington, Seven Star Women's Kung Fu has been teaching martial arts and self defense to women and girls for 25 years.
The style taught at Seven Star is the Gaylord Method of Kajukenbo Chu'an Fa Kung Fu. Created in Hawaii in the 1940s, Kajukenbo was the first indigenous American martial art. It combines aspects of Tang Soo Do (Korean Karate), Kodokan Judo, Jujitsu, Kosho Ryu Kenpo, and Shaolin Kung Fu (also known as Chinese Boxing).
