I recently visited the Seattle Sugar bar for the first time and had a wonderful experience. Felicia was very fast and proffesional and the shop is adorable! I am used to getting waxed and I will never go back, I am still completely hairless and it has been weeks since I went in. I reccomend it to all my friends.
Felicia was great! Very quick and efficient. I've been getting brazilian waxing done for 3 years and trust me when I say they got nothing on these sweet chicks! Felicia and her sugaring was so awesome and I've never been this hair free for this long. This was the best experience!
My roommate and I visited Annette for the first time this month to get a brazilian sugaring. Four weeks previous to our appointment with her we had gone to a waxing salon and got brazilion waxed and were not impressed at all by the results. Getting sugared was an amazing and non painful experience. My rooommate is the ultimate baby when it comes to pain and she said she even "enjoyed" the experience. Annette made us feel like we had been coming to her for years and both of us were extremly comfortable and welcome in her studio and the environment. We are def. going to become regular customers along with a bunch of our friends that are excited to join her clientale list:)
I felt so at ease, so comfortable with Annette, the entire experience was extremely pleasant. I was thrilled with the results and frankly, couldn't wait for my next appointment. If you are considering sugaring, you cannot do better than the Sugar Bar Sugaring Studio.
Annette is amazing at sugaring, which is NOT AT ALL LIKE WAXING! Yes, it does remove your hair, but with much less pain and especially by Annette...She is a natural at this! I even took my 2 teenage daughter's to her for their first bikini's! They were so thrilled! They even got their eyebrows done and they were shaped better than any waxing has ever done!! She is passionate about her work and she is professional and knows what she is doing!! I don't recommend alot of people or things, but Annette and the Seattle Sugar Bar....SHE IS THE BEST!! Seattle Sugar Bar is the safest alternative to waxing and threading, and the most sanitary. The owner, Annette, is an expert at what she does and her prices are reasonable. I was afraid to try waxing because of the pain from the heated wax and I've known people who have broken out in bad rashes from waxing, probably due to unsanitary practices. When I read about sugaring - that the sugaring compound is all natural and doesn't need to be heated - I was excited to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed. I'm very pleased with the eyebrow shaping and basic bikini that I got from Seattle Sugar Bar. Thanks, Annette!
Annette is completely amazing! As soon as I walked into her adorable studio, I felt at ease. She was so professional, obviously very knowledgeable, personal, and fun! My first Brazilian sugaring was a complete success! I have very sensitive skin, so to find a method of hair removal that left no irritation, it's such a wonderful thing! I can't wait to get sugared again!!
I got sugared last week and the results were great.I was nervous because I'm afraid of waxing but since the sugar only adheres to your hair and NOT your skin it's way less painful.The hair also gets pulled with the hair,not against the grain like waxing.Annette was super sweet,funny,and made my boyfriend laugh too.I look forward to my next appointment! Had my first sugaring experience last week and I am pleasantly surprised how much better it is than waxing! Annette's friendly and professional demeanor put me at ease. Its good to know about an alternative to waxing that is better for the skin and does not spread bacterial infections that waxing does. I have acne prone skin and I had been looking for hair removal that wouldn't irritate my skin. AWESOME service, its a definite plus for those with sensitive skin and need hair removal service!!!
Annette's patience was evident in her work with me as a newbie (first-timer). I felt as comfortable as possible during my appointment due to her skill, as well as the fun conversation. The results are great -- she is thorough, and full of helpful advice. The studio is warm and welcoming. Sugaring is a nice way to go for hair removal, and I recommend getting it done at the Seattle Sugar Bar!
Really a great experience. Annette is amazing, and she is very skilled. I was trained in the sugaring technique and used to sugar when I owned my own spa. Anyone should switch from waxing to sugaring, the results are quite nice.
Annette is totally right! Sugaring is the BESTTTTT way to have hair taken off. She even made my tattoo "pop" out it made the colors vibrant like it look like the day I got it done.

She makes you feel super comfortable when you're on the bed and keeps the conversation going so you barely notice what's going on with the waxing... which honestly is not so painful. I am a naturally hairy girl (well OK, a bit of a Hairy Beast) which has driven me crazy for years! I have shaved, tweezed, waxed, had electrolysis done and even tried those super-fine sand paper things... I was ready to pay a ton of money for laser hair removal until I met Annette.
Annette is very comforting and professional and her services are amazing! I essentially had my entire body from the neck down sugared and have been hair free for a few weeks. The sugaring process is not nearly as painful as waxing in that the sugar does not burn like wax and clean up is amazingly simple. The sugar does not contain the many ridiculous chemicals that the wax does (which made me break out in hives) and it exfoliates your skin, leaving you uber soft. The hair that is growing back in is super fine and hardly noticeable. I've already scheduled my next sugaring and have recommended Annette to everyone I know.
I can honestly say that I will never wax again. Annette made a Sugar Baby outta me!

I was researching waxing online when I found info on Seattle Sugar Bar. I am SO glad I went with Annette and her sugaring service! If you're looking for a posh and snooty spa, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a professional, comfortable and long lasting hair removal service, Seattle Sugar Bar is THE PLACE. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
