The Seattle Running Company, located on busy Capitol Hill, has quickly established itself as "the" technical running shoe store. SRC offers a free treadmill/video camera analysis, an inventory of over 100 different shoes, and specialized coaching and stride perfection services -- the latter supervised by Scott Jurek, a physical therapist and seven-time winner of the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run.
Owners Scott McCoubrey and Leslie Bray, both runners, can often be spotted at local road running and trail events along with their dog Jack. SRC puts on many races each year, including the White River 50-mile trail run, a USATF national championship race.
