Sami was raised in the Northwest and has always been passionate about physical fitness and outdoor activities. Training as a gymnast from a young age, she learned the value in challenging herself, both physically and mentally. When not tumbling or dancing, she enjoyed snow-skiing, water-skiing, hiking, camping and running. At age 13, she became a cheerleader and continued to cheer for the following 9 years, eventually earning a scholarship to the University of Idaho to cheer. She graduated from the University of Idaho with two degrees in Finance and Economics. After graduation, she and her fiancé moved to Nashville, TN. In early 2009, Sami became one of the original instructors for Pure Barre Nashville. Instantly, Sami knew this method of exercise was revolutionary and was determined to make Pure Barre a larger part of her life. After teaching Pure Barre for nearly a year, Sami became a Master Teacher Trainer of the Southern Central region of the States. She is now honored and thoroughly excited to take Pure Barre closer to her roots, to Seattle WA.
