Twenty nine years ago on July 7th, 1976, Ginger Luke purchased the Kowloon Chinese Restaurant in the Greenwood district. She revamped, remodeled, and renamed it the “Rickshaw” and with that developed the restaurant and lounge into one of the most popular neighborhood establishments in NW Seattle.
Now she is at it again, putting in one of the best karaoke systems in town and attracting singers from all over the region. Rickshaw now offers Karaoke 7 days a week from 9 pm to 2 am and was just voted as one of the "VERY BEST KARAOKE" place in town by Seattle Times readers for this year!
Luke's Mandarin/Thai Chef has added several special dishes such as Hot Garlic Prawns, Mongolian Beef and Satay Chicken and Spicy Noodle Soup plus added a whole new Thai Cruise menu.

No matter how many times I've been here over the years since I turned 21 - A LONG LONG time ago, the drinks are ALWAYS stiff here :)

First they feed folks, then their list of cocktails allows people to get liquored up enough go up and try.
