For over 9 years, the Portage Bay Café has provided some of Seattle's best breakfast, brunch and lunch options. Over the years, we have increased our commitment to both organic and whole foods, as well as offering some of the most original menu items at very reasonable prices. Catering and wedding catering is available 7 days a week.
In the last few years, we have also branched out into catering, bringing our fresh, contemporary northwest fare to groups outside our restaurant. We are the Exclusive Caterer to the University Inn and are a Preferred Caterer at the brand new Watertown Hotel.
Also, since the Café is closed in the evenings, we have become a popular place for private functions. We have hosted social events such as Rehearsal Dinners, Birthday Parties and Graduation Parties, as well as Corporate functions and University of Washington Departmental Dinners. Our space is a great place for your next large party.
The Best!!!! Not pricey, and they have vegan, gluten free and regular food! All yummy!

Lively place to eat - most time there is a line out of the door at the University cafe and also the one in Ballard. Downtown gets crowded too.
Great drinks and incredible fruit bar.
