(avg rating of 39 recs) Write a recommendationPT is a great town. Nice people, great restaurants, lots of good shopping.
What a beautiful town! You can hike in the Olympics, less than an hour away, or walk on the beautiful beaches that surround Port Townsend. You'll never run out of fabulous restaurants to try, or interesting shops to peruse. Arrive in your boat or by car. We even have an International Airport. If you need a hospital while you're here, ours has the best view and most caring staff of any I've seen. There are lots of accommodations, from hotels to historic B&Bs. All this within two hours of Seattle.
The pace of life is perfect, the visual stimulation, fab. The fact if you are so inclined as to pine for what the Seattle metro area has to offer in terms of other cultural & socially activities, yet can be back home and in your own bed the same night - the clincher. And for those whose bed is elsewhere... we've plenty here to hold you for a night or two while we share our slice of NW heaven with you.
Port Townsend is a charming Victorian Seaport steeped in history with fun shops and incredible food. You can eat three or four meals a day and still enjoy something deliciously prepared, often using local foods. If you like adventure, there are opportunities for kayaking, biking, hiking and whale watching too. And it's a fabulous for a romantic getaway or honeymoon. Live music abounds, especially on weekends, and there are exciting galleries to enjoy.
Small town with lots to do. Many touristy shops and fun restaurants. Sight see old historical buildings. Lots of great photo opps! Love our trips up there.

Just a short trip and a great escape.
Historic and quaint; beautiful setting.
Great Town, Atmostphere, Restuarants and fun place to show downtown and uptown. Elevated Ice Cream is the best.
So much to do, surrounding areas are great, wonderful wineries, shoping, stores....
Fun, boating, good eats, pleasant atmosphere, you can't beat the wood boat show.
Port Townsend has a little something for everyone. It has great boutiques, fun and funky restaurants, great beer, and a plethora of outdoor activities.
cute, historic, plenty to see and do. We go there and camp, take the kayaks up, scuba dive with Admiralty Dive, hang at Crossroads Music, ice cream at Elevated, and dinner at Waterfront Pizza or Wild Coho
