With over 30 years of culinary experience, the Kongs were inspired to open a restaurant in the Northwest. They wanted to bring their knowledge and expertise to the Seattle Community with their creative and innovative culinary cuisine. While having a Chinese background, the Kongs were inspired to create culinary italian cuisine. They decided Italian food was the best way to express their creative designs because of the similar Italian and Chinese cultures. The Kongs believed in the flavors and fresh cuisine found in Italy. They are commited to bringing the most authentic flavors and ingredients in all their dishes. The culture similarities in Chinese and Italian are bridged together by the culinary cuisine and the family oriented environment.

We promote the freshness of western Washington in all of our ingredients. We promote the northwest though our diversity of mixing cultures. We believe western Washington is a culinary mixture of diversity, therefore, they we pride ourselves in creating new cuisines and mixtures that exhibit the qualities that Washington has to offer Italian cuisine.

This is the best Italian restaurant that I have ever had. The owner, they both are like my own family. Their food is amazing. I would like to tell about my own experience. My friends and I were hungry at one night, and we did not know where to find some place to eat since it was already like almost midnight. So, I remembered Perche no. I called them and talked to Lily. She was happy to wait for us to come. David cooked for us, even though the restaurant was away from business hours. Finally, we walked out of the restaurant as happy customers ever. I think no other restaurants will do the same thing like this.

Perche' No? is the best Italian restaurant in Seattle and is as authentic as any I've tried in Rome, Italy. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and up beat. David Kong is a master chef and a creative artist in the kithchen.

Perche No Pasta & Vino is the very best Italian restaurant!! We love the food and have for years, and David and Lily are truly beautiful people -- and SO creative! Couldn't recommend it more highly!

I am very fond of Perche' No. The food is always delicious. And David and Lily are community minded, big-hearted people. The fancy plates always get the attention. Try the Minestrone soup sometime, you'll be glad you did!
