One of the biggest reasons to come and visit us is for the nightly live music that we offer. While the Owl n' Thistle Band draws teeming crowds on the weekends we also offer a very eclectic selection of live music during the week.
Quite a few bands got their start playing at the Owl n' Thistle The Dusty 45's, The Dempsy's, Mayfly, and Left Hand Smoke just to name a few. The bands that play here enjoy being so close to their audience along with the laid back atmoshpere that we offer.
The people who come in during the week often come just to hear the band that's playing that night. Other's would prefer to listen to the jukebox and play pool. That's fine too, they can hang out in the back room and not even hear who ever is on stage that night. Everyone is happy that way-they're also happy because we don't have a cover charge during the week!

Great mix of music good pub grub. AJ, Ian and a whole staff very cool people to share your night with.

This place is da best. And on the weekend after 2 you just walk upstairs to Contour to keep dancing....
