These folks know how to take care of people. To me this is like going home to eat except for Mom isn't their to bug you about not having more kids or getting married. To add to the fire, my mom doesn't like Indian food so it isn't childhood nostalgia influencing this - it still feels homey to me. I have also seen them accommodate parties that need privacy or some other special need like large groups and they do it without any hooplah and no one knows they are there.
More than a few times I have asked them for suggestions on new dishes for picky kids AND picky adults for that matter. They have never been wrong. I have found new dishes that drive me wild and I can't stop eating them.
I really get the impression that there is family working there or at least people that really love each other work there. Just my impression but that impression will keep me there forever. Also food is excellent - I have to just trust that my friends from Pakistan, N. India, S. India are biased when they tell me it isn't as good as their mom made - for me it is better than everywhere else in town.
