We heard Michael Benson Band at a friend's wedding over a year ago and my boyfriend (now fiance) picked up their business card because we loved them so much. When we got engaged & picked a wedding date this band was the first thing we booked. We can't wait to have a great dance party all night long at our wedding in May! Also, Michael Benson has great customer service...he was super friendly & helpful to my fiance during the booking process.
Michael Benson and his band play an unbelievable range of music from early swing to R&B to heavy rock to current hits from artists like Nelle and Usher. They're amazing!!! They kept the dance floor full all night long and people have been talking about them for months after the wedding. THANKS!!!

These guys have a reputation in Seattle they most certainly deserve! They made our wedding! They stuck to the songs we picked out of their 12 page song list but added some other favorites, including Lady Gaga "Just Dance"! Michael also learned new music for our ceremony and did piano with my cousins who sang Natalie Coles "Everlasting Love" as our recessional! They asked about the volume, song choices, etc. throughout the night and were a HUGE hit with all generations. They kept the party going until the very end! They were fun, energetic, so easy to work with and VERY responsive via email prior to the big day, and just AMAZED us and our guests. We want to have an anniversary party next year just so we can have them play again!
The best music I've ever heard at a wedding!
They were absolutely the best, we were thrilled to have them play at our daughters wedding - I hope I am invited to another event they are playing at so I can hear them again. They are always the first thing that comes up when the wedding is mentioned.

Not just the best in Western Washington - the best anywhere. 5 years after our wedding reception, people only seem to remember 3 things - the venue we chose, the cake, and the Michael Benson Band. Mostly without prompting, a lot of people still make comments like, "You're wedding reception was one of the best and memorable - the band was a nice touch."

Fabulous! Very versitile and experienced in everything from big band, Sinatra, 80's, and hip hop. You will not get any better for the money. Everyone at our wedding loved dancing to their music, old and young alike! We recieved compliment after compliment on how good The Michael Benson Band was and how much fun they had!

I may be biased because we've been friends since high school, but Michael and the Band deserve to be honored for getting us all up dancing and celebrating life for the last 35 years they have been performing. They are a great band, no doubt, but also 4 great guys to have at any party!

Amazing!
Met Michael 20 years ago when I hired the band to play at a Fred Hutch Martindale Guild auction and they got the 300 plus crowd up and dancing even after spending tons of money. Now my daughter, without me knowing found him and loved his music and we've booked the band for her wedding next June. She is 26 yrs. old and is so thrilled to have him and the band. Great, great fun. There was more than one reason that we met then.
