Madeleine's Pastry Chef and Proprietor, Wendi Chocholak, has been baking since she was tall enough the reach the counter while standing on a chair! In second grade, while reading through a cookbook, she decided to make her first batch of croissants. It took three days, but after turning the butter-rich dough faithfully before and after school each day, she presented her family with the perfectly fluffy, flaky, French pastries.
“Cakes are my true love in the pastry world. People receive such joy from eating a piece of good quality cake. I enjoy the creativity in designing something unique to fit each client's tastes and style.”
