Light Rail

Nominated for: BEST Biggest Public Eyesore

Construction of Sound Transit's Central Link light rail has taken a toll on the Seattle aesthetic. The light rail line is opening in 2009 in two stages: the 13.9-mile segment from Westlake Station to Tukwila International Boulevard Station in summer 2009 and a 1.7-mile extension to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport by the end of that year.

Way to go Kool-aid drinkers...an Eyesore and a monumental waste of public funds...there's a billion dollars plus that will never pay for itself...and will forever be a drain on society.
