get rid of it, commie!
Disgusting. Why is it there??
It just makes me angry when I see it.
Not a positive item.
Who the hell wants to look at a symbol of oppression?
Little thing called communism? Remember what it represents? Never really works out for its citizenry, now does it?
THIS NOT AN EYESORE BUT A GIFT TO UNDERSTANDING!
If we do not understand the past we are doomed to repeat it. these days it seems to many spend to much effort chasing their tail. I can not think of a better place to display Lenin than here in the United States were we can still reflect and appreciate what it like to have freedom of choice. Now if we can only get more of our elected officials to under stand that they are in office to serve the people.
Remove it or paint it yellow and put a chain around his neck. Have his hands dripping red. Remind people what his brand of intellectual thought leads to in practice.
it stinks
Lenin!! Definitely an eyesore!!
A statue of Lennon, do I need to say more!!!!
Don't get it at all.
why are we idolizing a historic figure responsible for paving the way for so much evil? This statue needs to be removed like they were in Eastern Europe!
leninism = done
Lenin's historical position notwithstanding, this is stil a pice of art, and a skillfully executed piece at that level. I've spent many a day by this statue, and though Lenin is not the most esteemed figure in history, this statue is part of Fremont's history. Don't make Fremont even tamer than it already is by removing the Lenin Statue - next would be the Troll and the Interurban!
This man started a revolution that killed millions
Ugh!
Get rid of it!
Let's honor Americans in America
As a person whose family fled the intentional starvation of the soviet farming class, this statue is an affront to me and a slap in the face to everything I love about America. Everytime I am in Fremont, I must resist the urge to throw red paint all over it.
