Where to begin? Laurel is fabulous. That might be all you really need to know. If you are anything like me, you are looking at Yelp because you are trying to find out enough information as possible about your potential list of photographers. I did the same thing. What really ‘sold’ us on Laurel, was her work and he personality. My fiancé was not exactly thrilled about spending any money on photography. Then as I started showing him pictures and difference among photographers, he started to understand why a good photographer is so important. They capture your special day, not just with the pictures themselves, but they are snapshots in time of the moments you’ll want to remember forever. We wanted someone who wouldn’t just stand us in lines and snap photos, but rather someone who would capture the spirit of the day and the emotions everyone felt. Laurel did just that.
After our first meeting with her, my now husband was sold. I asked if he wanted to meet some of the other photographers I had found, and he said “no, she’s the one.” Boy did we choose right. Laurel made the entire process from start to finish as easy and stress-free as possible. She has this amazing ability to give you direction in such a carefree way, you don’t feel like she’s bossing you around (which she kind of is). The ‘getting to know you shoot’ included in most packages was great. We not only got to know her, which in turn made us more comfortable, but we got some wonderful photos of us in our everyday lives.
I also did a ‘sexy shoot’ with Laurel as my gift to my husband. I was a bit nervous. It’s not everyday someone takes photos of you in your skivvies. Although somehow it wasn’t awkward as she told me to turn this way, stick my butt out more and smile. We got to know each other real well after that, and the photos turned out way better than I could have ever imagined.
I could go on and on about Laurel. As you look at all her photos though and hear from other people, you see a pattern: a genuinely kind, fun-loving and passionate person that makes lasting connections with her clients. After you snag her as your photographer, you too will start planning out all the future events she could capture on film for you, just so you can hang out with her again. She’s that amazing. Oh and her photographs aren’t so bad either!

Laurel is Simply the best all the way around. Her photos are priceless and she is a Great Person who actually care about her clients. I almost forgot to mention she makes everything FUN!!!
