Jeff knows his Labs! He's very patient.
Great classes for basic obedience training!
He is amazing with dogs! And he is gentle and the dogs simply love him; he can get them to obey when nothing else seems to work.
Jeff has always been available to help me either in person or phone conversations. He helped through a very hurtful time with my older dog Clancy and has been there again for me and our new puppy Buckley.
amazing with dogs and people. is marriage counselling part of the package??? very dedicated and the support after the appointment was included in the price of a home visit. Spends all the time you need to help you have a wonderful dog.

I recommend "Jeff Tinsley" because he is more than a trainer. He is also an outstanding dog behavorist which are hard to find. He helped me to realize when it was time for my 'service dog " to retire and start training a new dog. His timing was right on. soon after my dog got 'alzihimers and he was the only one to diagnoise what was going on with her what medication to treat her with. He took the time to work closely with my vet on her treatment. He also is available to answer any questions I may have at any given time at no charge. He sends out a monthly newsletter. He has also written a book on how to treat dogs kindly aimed at elementary age students. I used it in the classroom and found it to be very useful. Jeff was kind enough to donate 22 books to the classroom one for each student. I don't think you can find a more compassionate trainer/Behaviorist anywhere.
Does an excellent job training pet owners and their dogs!
He not only gives you training tips, he observes owners and
their dogs to let us (owners) how we need to behave in general to get better results and have happier relationships with our dogs.
He understands dogs and human nature and is able to articulate that in a way that's easy to understand. He also charges a reasonable price for his services and shares information with other dog experts in the community through internships and training.
As first time dog owners', we needed more training than our young pup. Jeff was not afraid to critique us and make us the "leader of the pack." I can't thank Jeff enough!
Jeff is effective, realistic and honest in his critique of how to train your dog. I highly recommend him to anyone with a dog!
I do dog rescue in Seattle and often the dogs I rescue have had no training whatsoever. Since this is a volunteer group, we have little if no money. Jeff and his crew at Sound Animal Services give us FREE training classes for all of the dogs that I rescue as long as they are in foster and waiting to be adopted. I cannot tell you what a difference this makes in the adoptability of a dog. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity, Sound Animal Services! You guys are the best! Jeff recognized the issues with our dogs immediately and recommended appropriate training. Of course, it's up to us to make sure we follow his good advice.
I am a veterinarian and have refered animlas with difficult behavioral issues. All clients have had positive feed back and were very happy with his approach.
