Because the staff is AWSOME!!
This place is incredible. The food is great and the service is superb. Alberto and his staff are really doing an excellent job. You will not be disappointed.
AMAZING food, friendly atmosphere, an awesome owner, and some cute waiters.
ok so the space is gorgeous, the service is great and the staff is one giant cohesive family. but it really boils down to alberto candido candivi. he studied all over italy at a young age, then came to the states where he ran several restaurants, started new ones etc. but he really gets those amazing culinary talents from his Mama Olga, who can make a lasagna from scratch (including pasta) in about 15 minutes, and never once uses a mixing bowl. i lived with them briefly back in the day in san colombano in lombardia, and NEVER in my life did i eat so well, unless we were having dinner made by alberto at home. no one is so comfortable and at home in a kitchen, and his vision, quality of products and his dedication to age old recipes while still giving a local and modern twist is absolutely amazing! truly truly you all in mount vernon are so blessed to have one of the best chefs from Laguna Beach, Orange County, Long Beach and Beverly Hills come there to open his dream restaurant. i can't wait to come back!!!

Well I feel they provide the best experience of authentic Italian Food in WA. with also putting an american friendly atmosphere to the dinning experience.
I live in Minnesota and love eating at II Granaio when I visit Washington State. The food is wonderful and so is the staff and atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want the best in Italian food.

It has such a pleasant dining environment in the old grainery building, and the employees are always very friendly. The food is great--try the salmon pasta dish!
Authentic, delicious, succulent food. Alberto makes you feel like family the minute you walk in the doors. I LOVE THIS PLACE! If you haven't been there, you need to go and order the Fileto Al Madera! YUUUUMMMM-O!
