Iaan is a passionate, innovative host. He supplies us with a great variety of great music from a genre that is sadly underrepresented here in Seattle.

Iaan is one of the most knowledgeable people I know about music, knowledge both deep and wide, and has a vast ability to connect artists across genres. He's the kind of radio personality that feeds you a lovely, fulfilling meal of inspiring songs with the perfect amount of information as garnish. Invariably when I tune in he introduces me to artists I must have in my own music collection, leaving my wallet lighter but my musical cred among discerning friends ever more...well fed. He's also funnier than hell and a stand up guy all around.

Iaan has that classical, laid-back DJ persona that goes so well with his playlists. He is a walking musical encyclopedia of folk, roots, americana and rounds it off with a rich knowledge of the local scene that makes him (arguably) the best DJ in town.
