Description of Nominee as described by Dr. Clint Ogivle, one of Northshore Christian Academy's Teachers:
"Mrs. Leach is a gifted leader with a unique ability to cast remarkable visions and see each through to reality by motivating and inspiring others to get involved. She has developed a profound community of parents, teachers, staff and students partnering together to educate the whole child. Mrs. Leach builds our community through her friendly, supportive approach. She is a "work smart" principal with a spark for excellence and a passion for learning. Holly encourages our team, challenging us to reach our highest potentials, so our students are served by enthusiastic educators who love to learn and teach. Northshore Christian Academy has a healthy, vibrant learning environment for the entire community due to the leadership of Holly Leach!"
Under Holly's guidance, we have built a 1.5M, eight classroom (including a high-tech science lab), Middle School Pavilion which the students will enjoy beginning September 7, 2011, the first day of school! The building is paid for.
We have over 900 students (toddlers - 8th grade) registered for the 2011-2012 school year. NCA will be starting it's 16th year. Our 33 acre campus is located near the Everett Boeing plant. We have a beautiful view of Puget Sound.
