Founded by twin brothers Tom and Fred Wilson with their longtime friend, Randy Gaebler, High Road Automotive began operations as "Dr. Honda" in 1984. The tiny, two-bay shop in Ballard flourished as its reputation for consistently high-quality work and superb customer service grew. In 1988, the company relocated to a larger facility in Ballard, and in 1990 it was renamed High Road Automotive. Randy Gaebler eventually moved to Colorado and sold his share in the company to the Wilson brothers, who have led High Road continuously since that time. For over twenty years, High Road Automotive has exceeded the market in customer care, preventive maintenance, and environmentally sound business practices.
Located near historic Ballard, High Road Automotive has been trusted as one of Seattle's premiere, independent repair shops for over twenty years. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Friendly staff and good service. They found the issue with my truck after I had taken it to the Toyota dealership 5 times. Turns out the dealer screwed up during a tuneup.
