Our little neighborhood salon was opened in 1946 by Grandmother Merle. Still thriving over 60 years later, the newcomers are mixing in with the clientelle that has been coming in since the 40's and 50's. In a single day at Frederick's you could see a child's haircut, a bride on her wedding day, a Brazillian Blowout and a little old lady with a head full of rollers.

Hey, I love Frederick's and especially Crystal, she rocks my hair every time. I love supporting a local,established business. For the best of Western Wa, Frederick's is the BEST!!

I love this salon, I followed my stylist from another salon and cannot be happier. She is an amazing stylist and person over all! The salon itself has a fun and welcoming atmosphere and I recommend it to all my friends who live in the area! It is not far from me and totally worth the visit and worthy of having many loyal clients! Leah is my hair stylist and I would not go to anyone else but her! This salon deserves to win and so do the stylists!

Had Crystal and Michelle do my hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids-they were truly amazing! I definitely recommend!
