Our little neighborhood salon was opened in 1946 by Grandmother Merle. Still thriving over 60 years later, the newcomers are mixing in with the clientelle that has been coming in since the 40's and 50's. In a single day at Frederick's you could see a child's haircut, a bride on her wedding day, a Brazillian Blowout and a little old lady with a head full of rollers.
I love Crystal at Frederick's of Greenwood. In all of my adult life, I never committed to a hair stylist before her. She is amazing!

Crystal "gets" long hair and how to cut and style it. Finally after 35 years of having my hair cut professionally I have met someone who does not leave ALL the styling decisions to me, just enough. That is why we have people cut our hair...am I right?!
