The Fred Oldfield Western Heritage & Art Center is dedicated to the preservation of his dream of sharing his love of life, his Western Art, and the history of the American West. As an interactive learning center it celebrates and promotes this dream for all generations. The Center offers a full time Art School & Summer Art Camps and over 20% of the students attend on a scholarship. Fred has donated over a million dollars in artwork to various charities throughout our community to help his neighbors. For Fred it is "All about the Kids". The Center is located on the Puyallup Fairgrounds at the Red Gate.
Great art and history. Classes for all ages. Wonderful teachers and volunteers. Positive atmosphere. Events encouraging interaction with artists. Fred and his daughter Joella are welcoming and have so much to share.

Fred's Art Gallery is such a gift to us here in Western Washington! His work combines his love of life as a western cowboy and a God given talent of bringing it all together in his paintings for us everywhere to enjoy! The way he uses color and composition in his paintings really draws you in and it's hard to walk away from any of his paintings! They are simply spectacular to say the least. In his paintings, you just instantly get caught up in the feeling of the outdoor story and the simpler life of a cowboy. His paintings are relaxing to look at and you feel like you are in a special moment in time. He is capturing the life of the American West as well as the beauty of the majestic mountains and lakes in the northwest. In the spring of this year, I took oil painting classes from Fred at the Fred Oldfield Western Art Heritage Center, and the painting techniques he taught me are invaluable. He has a great sense of humor too! Fred definitely has my vote!
