Foster Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (FBJJ) was established in 2003 by head instructor James Foster. Coach Foster is a certified 2nd Degree Black Belt under Lotus Club Jiu-Jitsu with over 16 years of training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and over 25 years of martial arts experience. Our facility serves the greater Seattle area and is conveniently located in Kent, Washington just south of Seattle.
FBJJ offers one of the most comprehensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts programs in the Pacific Northwest, with classes seven days a week and multiple class types to choose from including: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, BJJ 101, Women's Jiu-Jitsu and Self Defense, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Submission Grappling (No Gi), and Children's classes.
Whether you are a beginner or advanced, completely new to martial arts, or you just want to have a fun hobby that keeps you in shape, FBJJ has a program that's right for you! Here's a short list of benefits that our program has to offer to you:

Please vote for Fosters Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as the best martial arts studio in western Washington. Its a great atmosphere to train at, and professor James Foster is an amazing teacher

I've been through a lot of martial arts and jiu-jitsu training and I've never came across the level of expertise and knowledge that James provides in his school. Top notch coaching, support and a family atmosphere. Everyone roots for each other!
