Elected by the citizens of Renton every four years, the Mayor provides leadership for the City of Renton. In addition, he works closely with department administrators to direct the many functions of city government, presides over weekly City Council meetings and works with the Council members to develop ordinances and resolutions that protect the interests of Renton's citizens.

I agree with Marlene, but would rather a Top Food store at The Landing.

Denis has been a spectacular example of how to build relationships, find common ground, deal with complex issues, and overcome the various disagreements that naturally occur in governing people with differing interests. He is exactly what any city needs in a Mayor, and has been exactly what Renton needs. Go Denis!
