Choosing an artist for my first tattoos was the most nerve wrecking thing I've ever had to do, the last thing I wanted was the worse permanent thing on my body. When I asked one of my friends (who is COVERED in ink from different artist) who I should go to, he automatically said Christy Brooker at Damask Tattoo. I set my appointments with Ms. Brooker, and couldn't have been happier. She was super attentive @ what I wanted and did the most amazing work in such a short amount of time. I've been getting compliments on my tattoos from the moment I stepped out of the studio (under bloody plastic and all); even my "conservative" madre fell in love with them :D. I will definitely be going Christy for any other work I would ever want done and always make sure to keep her business cards in my wallet to give to anyone that wants high quality work by an amazing artist ;]

Christy has created a spa atmosphere so you can get a tattoo in a private, beautiful setting. I just got my first tattoo there in honor of my 60th birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. She is so skilled and artistic and caring.

she makes the straightest lines. I have 5 different star tattoos by Christie and they are PERFECT! she has a soft and steady hand. She worked with me on 7 different tattoos to make sure I got exactly what I wanted.
Christie is a true artist. I simply laid out my idea verbally with her and used only a couple photos that still needed much altering. When I finally saw my tattoo I was amazed. It was an exact replica of my vision! The experience itself was practically relaxing since her and her staff are so friendly and you can tell she is professional. I may have to fly back out to Seattle from Iowa to get tattooed again by her!
Best tattoo experience in Seattle, bar none! Christy has taken getting a tattoo to the next level. No more B.S., no more attitude, just good art, good people and good times.

Christy is amazing! She is very friendly and very easy to talk too. I just had a tattoo done with her and I have a couple that we are currently working on. She wants everything to be perfect and it shows. Her studio is beautiful and very enchanting. I remember walking into her studio and being instantly happy and relaxed.
I went to 2 other artists before Damask. Neither of them "got" my tattoo concept or were willing to collaborate with me to create my beautiful, unique and meaningful tattoo. Then I met Christy - and she totally nailed it! Christy is not only incredibly artistically talented, she's also intuitive and genuinely kind, funny and cool. Going to her studio is more like going to a spa or salon than a tattoo parlor. I cannot recommend her more highly.
