Mothers and daughters don´t always see eye to eye. But a few years ago Mary Jo Thomas and her daughter Danielle Thomas suddenly had an epiphany. As much as they both loved to shop, they both hated most of their shopping experiences. Salespeople were snooty. Cookie-cutter merchandise was blah. Shopping karma from NY to LA was downright bad. As is so often the case, they came to realize that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.
They dreamed their dream, planned their plans and named their creation Curtsy Bella, a boutique with a fresh new attitude that combines the latest in fashion with the eternal principles of style. Curtsy Bella opened its door in May of 2006.
Inside the store, located immediately north of University Village on Blakeley Street, you´ll find a world of new and established designers. Among the witty greeting cards and elegant desk accessories are sexy lingerie, charming baby clothes and delightful gifts.
The designers represent a who´s who of individualism, humor and exquisite taste. And they aren´t for everyone, just people with great taste and a twinkle in their eyes."

This store is a gem! Great, sometimes edgy gifts. Great place to but presents for brides, kids and friends. The owners are so nice and I love their sense of style.
