If a horse in need isn't too big or small and is temperamentally sound enough to load into our trailer . . . off he goes to safety. A team member fosters him (food, grooming, health care,) until he is ready to join the team. We start by reminding him how to be ridden by a caring human, and teaching him manners. He is introduced to simple drill moves with an experienced “trainer” horse next to him. In a matter of days, he or she is “doing drill”!!
Cowgirl Spirit Rescue Drill Team helps horses in sub par situations and train them and adopt them to new homes!! They are wonderful!

Cowgirl Spirit is the BEST! The 100% volunteer base are the best women around. They give so much to save these horses. I am so proud to be a part of this organization. We have some very hard working cowboys as well.

This charity is awesome! These horses have been saved from being horse meat-and they are provided love and training, and health..to find forever homes. Very worthy charity-close to home. Can even go see the horses you are helping!

Cowgirl Spirit is run totally by volunteers, and is funded completely by donations. This dedicated group of women work tirelessly to rescue, retrain and rehome the horses in their program.
