Incredible selection--but the best attribute is the service.
The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable...
Not only have I enjoyed buying some truly remarkable wines from them, I have also received a first class wine education. There always seems to be an open bottle to taste and the time to learn more about wine from Doug and the staff. Their enthusiasm for wine is what makes this shop remarkable.
Great selection and first-rate, friendly, customer service. Somehow, they manage to snag top wines from Washington and around the world, often items that are scarce, many bargains, and a lot that are both. Savings are passed along to customers. There are other places where you can find huge availability of fine wines and build a world-class cellar if you have unlimited funds. This is a place where people who love to drink great wines can choose from a selection in any price range and get wines to lay down or drink now. The offerings are often eclectic, and that adds to the interest. This place is a unique resource.

They are a terrific source for affordable wines that everyone can enjoy. I trust their judgment, and if our tastes don't match, they are delighted to take it back. Best combo I know of.

Compass has a great selection of NW wines at all price levels. I trust their advice. They are also community-minded; we first met them when we bought their wine tasting at the auction for Skagitonians to Preserve Farmland!

Compass Wines offers the best selection of Washington wines in the northwest. They also carry excellent wines from the world's finest growing regions. Owner, Doug Charles, has a great palate and serves as a wonderful wine resource. His staff is cordial, fun and extremely helpful.
